Space Coast Research Flexi-Trader

Recently, Space Coast Research has embarked on design of its own
proprietary
product, Flexi-Trader, that is targeted to serve the investment banking industry.
The product will be a configurable rich front-end trading system that will
allow
investment banks to configure its components and interface to communicate
with
either a SQL Server database directly, or any back-end database through a
well-defined interface for communicating in an SOA environment via
industry-standard SOAP/XML
protocols.
The product is designed to allow IT departments, particularly those that
design
& support trading systems, to focus most of their resources on
configuration of
a feature-rich and highly configurable front-end provided by SCR rather than
having to do in-house design & development of front-ends for traders that
will
communicate with their in-house SOA back-end architectures.
The product will be developed using the following proven Microsoft
technologies:
- .NET Framework 3.5
- C#
- SQL Server 2008
- Infragistics GUI control suite
The centerpiece grid functionality will also be highly configurable, as
will be
security settings.
It will support real-time, asynchronous communication with a customer's
back-end
SOA via configurable events and configurable multi-threading.
Flexi-Trader is expected to be released in
first quarter 2010.
